EWP Yellow Card Training

EWP Training Solutions provide training courses and certification ranging from certificates of competencies through to National High Risk Work licences in affiliation with nationally accredited RTO’s- Held at our Smeaton Grange Location

The EWPA Yellow card training is a 1 day course, competency based training program to safely operate EWP types such as a Vertical Lift, Scissor Lift or a Boom lift. With Vertical Lift’s and Scissor lift’s there is no restrictions at all, however Boom lifts have restrictions up to 11m capacity. Once a boom lifts platform can achieve 11m in height or reach, irrelevant to the working height a HRW licence WP class is required to operate.

 

Below is a breakdown of all types of courses and licenses available-

 

  • EWPA “Yellow Card” Program – 1 day course Vertical Lift, Scissor Lift, *Boom Lift, *Trailer Lift, *Truck Mount Module. (*Note: Boom lifts under 11m capacity). Advance Boom Lift
  • TSHA “Gold Card” Program – 1 day course. Telescopic handlers plus attachments, Telescopic handler with Jib up to 3t capacity.
  • Working Safely at Heights -1 day course.  Working safely at heights training.
  • VOC – Verification of Competency  2 – 4 hours duration pending class types and validation of current certification and or certificate.
  • High Risk Work Licence – National HRW “WP” Course – 3 day course. * Boom type over 11m (WP). * Forklift truck (LF)

 

All courses consist of the following: Identify safe operating parameters using data plate and manual, Conduct pre and post operational checks, Operation of equipment Emergency procedures, Theory assessment and practical observation and demonstration. Upon successful completion of the chosen course your record of training is processed and you will receive a proof of training identification card.
